Health & Wellness
Who will be able to take in person classes?
We are dedicated to the health and wellness of our staff and members. Our class sizes are still limited and pre-registration online is required.
What will I need to bring?
We encourage you to bring your own mat and any props you would like. However, we are offering mat rentals for $5 as well as complimentary studio blocks, weights, straps, and hand/face towels.
Can I purchase retail or water bottles?
Yes. Both retail and water bottles are available for purchase! All retail sales will be final sale to be able to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the garments.
What is SoFlow doing to sanitize the space between classes?
All staff and instructors will be diligently sanitizing all hard surface and high contact areas (these include but are not limited to cubbies, restrooms, door handles, counter tops, and benches). We have doubled our staff scheduled to ensure all new cleaning protocols are completed. We will have sanitary wipes in restrooms and ask that you please wipe down door knobs, toilet handles, and sink faucets after use to ensure the space is clean for the person behind you.
What has SoFlow done to ready the space for our use?
Our space has been professionally cleaned and treated with a 75 day, hospital grade, sanitation solution. This service will kill germs on contact for up to 75 days and will not replace our daily cleanings and protocols of the space but will ensure our space remains as safe as possible for everyone.
Lingering Questions?
As always, we are here to answer any questions or concerns you may have and know that all protocols and actions listed above will be clearly displayed throughout our space. Please feel free to email us at info@southernflow.com with any questions or concerns.

What makes Southern Flow classes different from others?
We offer three signature variations of hot yoga classes that are heated to 90+ degrees. Our signature Sculpt class combines cardio, weights, and traditional yoga flow while Sweat is our version of hot, power vinyasa flow. Our Stretch class focuses on flexibility, alignment, coordination, and breath. We have also added several other class types, including Hot Mat Pilates, HIIT Bootcamp and Pre/Post Natal Yoga. By incorporating all of our classes into a routine workout regimen, you won't need to worry about supplementing elsewhere.
How do I benefit from the heat in the studio?
Our studio is heated between 90-99 degrees, creating a detoxifying sweat that stimulates blood circulation and increases flexibility. Our hot workouts are designed to boost the metabolism, and certain yoga poses even aid in draining the lymphatic system.
Do I have to pre-register for classes? What if I’m unable to make it?
We ask that you register for class at least 2 hours before class time to avoid class cancellations. We do take walk-ins but ask for clients to check the schedule before heading to the studio. You can register on our website or on the MINDBODY app. However, if you do pre-register and are unable to make a class, we kindly ask that you cancel at least SIX hours prior to the class start time to avoid being charged.
How do I pre-register for a class?
You can sign up through our website or through the MindBody app. We are also on Classpass and Gympass. We also accept walk-ins. However, we ask that you check the schedule before heading to the studio to ensure there haven't been any changes.
What should I wear/bring to class?
We recommend wearing fitted exercise clothes (ideally ones that wick away moisture). We have everything you might need during class available for rent or purchase. However, feel free to bring your own yoga mat, towel and beverage. We have cubbies for your other personal belongings.
Is there a private changing area I can use before and/or after class?
Yes! We have two dressing rooms, which include toiletries and other items to change before class or freshen up after. We want you to feel right at home in our studio!
Where should I park for class?
Parking is available in front of the studio, as well as in the gravel parking lot on the north side of the studio (Rose Street and Durham), which contains 30 spots. We ask that you please park in our front spaces or in our gravel parking lot out of respect for the businesses around us.
