COVID-19 Updates
Who will be able to take in person classes?
In person classes will be limited to a capacity of 10 people and pre-registration online is required.
What if I do not have a membership?
No worries! All class times will also continue to be offered virtually. Any member unable to reserve a spot in class, or choosing to join us from home, as well as all drop-in attendees will be able to access the class virtually. You can also still purchase a membership for $50 for unlimited in person and live stream classes for your first month!
What will I need to bring?
At this time, we will NOT be offering mat rentals, studio blocks, weights, or hand/face towels. We ask that you come to class with a water bottle, towel, and mat in hand. Instructors will be adding modifications for those without hand weights.
Should I wear a mask?
Given the size of our entry and cubby space, we are requesting that all members enter the studio wearing a mask or face covering. We will be practicing social distancing to the fullest extent possible and we recognize that in these “community” spaces, we may not be able to appropriately distance. Once in class, and on your mat, you may remove your face covering for your practice at your own discretion.
Can I purchase retail or water bottles?
Yes. Both will still be available for purchase! For retail, we will not be able to offer try-on sessions and all retail sales will be final sale to be able to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the garments.
What is SoFlow doing to sanitize the space between classes?
All staff and instructors will be diligently sanitizing all hard surface and high contact areas (these include but are not limited to cubbies, restrooms, door handles, counter tops, and benches). We have doubled our staff scheduled to ensure all new cleaning protocols are completed. We will have sanitary wipes in restrooms and ask that you please wipe down door knobs, toilet handles, and sink faucets after use to ensure the space is clean for the person behind you.
What has SoFlow done to ready the space for our use?
Our space has been professionally cleaned and treated with a 75 day, hospital grade, sanitation solution. This service will kill germs on contact for up to 75 days and will not replace our daily cleanings and protocols of the space but will ensure our space remains as safe as possible for everyone.
When will class capacities increase?
We will continue to follow all state and local guidelines and will increase our class capacities as soon as we feel is appropriate, and keeps the safety of our entire community in mind.
What has not changed?
We are here for YOU! We are ready for you, excited to see you, will share smiles and warm welcoming messages and look forward to the day when we can embrace one another soon!
Please cancel your class reservation at NO charge if you have any symptoms of sickness (I.e. cough, chills, etc.), regardless of whether or not you believe the symptom is COVID-19 related. While there is currently no charge for cancelled reservations, please cancel as early as possible so another member has a chance to fill your spot.
As always, we are here to answer any questions or concerns you may have and know that all protocols and actions listed above will be clearly displayed throughout our space. Please feel free to email us at info@southernflow.com with any questions or concerns.

What makes Southern Flow classes different from others?
We offer two variations of hot yoga classes that are heated to 90+ degrees. Our signature Sculpt class combines cardio, weights, and traditional yoga flow while Sweat is our version of hot, power vinyasa flow. Our restorative Stretch class focuses on flexibility, alignment, coordination, and breath. By incorporating all of our classes into a routine workout regimen, you won't need to worry about supplementing elsewhere.
How do I benefit from the heat in the studio?
Our studio is heated between 90-95 degrees, creating a detoxifying sweat that stimulates blood circulation and increases flexibility. Our hot workouts are designed to boost the metabolism, and certain yoga poses even aid in draining the lymphatic system.
Do I have to pre-register for classes? What if I’m unable to make it?
You don't have to pre-register for classes! We take walk-ins! However, if you do pre-register and are unable to make a class, we kindly ask that you cancel at least an hour prior to the class start time to avoid being charged.
How do I pre-register for a class?
You can sign up through our website or through the Mind Body app. We also accept walk-ins!
What should I wear/bring to class?
We recommend wearing fitted exercise clothes (ideally ones that wick away moisture). We have everything you might need during class available for rent or purchase, as true southerners do. However, feel free to bring your own yoga mat, hand towel, and beverage. We have cubbies inside the studio for your other personal belongings.
Is there a private changing area I can use before and/or after class?
Yes! We have two dressing rooms, as well as a refresh station, which includes toiletries and other items to satisfy all your freshening-up needs. We want you to feel right at home in our studio!
Where should I park for class?
Parking is available in front of the studio, as well as in the gravel parking lot on the north side of the studio, which contains 30 spots.
