May 18th Update
Currently, we plan to re-open our doors to you on Monday, May 25th! It has finally come to the moment we have all been waiting for and we are beyond thrilled to reach out and share our preliminary plans and protocols for reopen!
At this time, we have made the heartfelt decision to both limit our in-person class capacities as well as continue to offer all classes virtually to ensure we are not limiting access, and remain mindful of those who are still choosing to sweat from home during this time of re-opening. Please see below for details on how we will begin to re-open our space, our scope of chosen limitations, and insight into what our team will be doing behind the scenes to ensure you are as safe as possible while in our care!
Who will be able to take in person classes?
In person classes will be limited to a capacity of 8 members and pre-registration online is required.
What if I do not have a membership?
No worries! All class times will also continue to be offered virtually. Any member unable to reserve a spot in class, or choosing to join us from home, as well as all drop-in attendees will be able to access the class virtually. You can also still purchase a membership for $50 for unlimited in person and live stream classes for your first month!
What will I need to bring?
At this time, we will NOT be offering mat rentals, studio blocks, weights, or hand/face towels. We ask that you come to class with a water bottle, towel, and mat in hand. Instructors will be adding modifications for those without hand weights.
Should I wear a mask?
Given the size of our entry and cubby space, we are requesting that all members enter the studio wearing a mask or face covering. We will be practicing social distancing to the fullest extent possible and we recognize that in these “community” spaces, we may not be able to appropriately distance. Once in class, and on your mat, you may remove your face covering for your practice at your own discretion.
Can I purchase retail or water bottles?
Yes. Both will still be available for purchase! For retail, we will not be able to offer try-on sessions and all retail sales will be final sale to be able to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the garments.
What is SoFlow doing to sanitize the space between classes?
All staff and instructors will be diligently sanitizing all hard surface and high contact areas (these include but are not limited to cubbies, restrooms, door handles, counter tops, and benches). We have doubled our staff scheduled to ensure all new cleaning protocols are completed. We will have sanitary wipes in restrooms and ask that you please wipe down door knobs, toilet handles, and sink faucets after use to ensure the space is clean for the person behind you.
What has SoFlow done to ready the space for our use?
Our space has been professionally cleaned and treated with a 75 day, hospital grade, sanitation solution. This service will kill germs on contact for up to 75 days and will not replace our daily cleanings and protocols of the space but will ensure our space remains as safe as possible for everyone.
When will class capacities increase?
We will continue to follow all state and local guidelines and will increase our class capacities as soon as we feel is appropriate, and keeps the safety of our entire community in mind.
What has not changed?
We are here for YOU! We are ready for you, excited to see you, will share smiles and warm welcoming messages and look forward to the day when we can embrace one another soon!
Please cancel your class reservation at NO charge if you have any symptoms of sickness (I.e. cough, chills, etc.), regardless of whether or not you believe the symptom is COVID-19 related. While there is currently no charge for cancelled reservations, please cancel as early as possible so another member has a chance to fill your spot.
As always, we are here to answer any questions or concerns you may have and know that all protocols and actions listed above will be clearly displayed throughout our space. Please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns.
A few things to note:
- Please make sure your email address is up to date in your Mind Body profile.
- Sign up for class at least 1 hour before the class start time.
- You will receive an email from email@example.com with a link to access the live class one hour prior to class start time.
- You DO NOT need a zoom account to take class. You only need the app. Your camera and microphone will be disabled automatically.
We hope you will continue your practice with us from home to keep your peace of mind and spirit. We are better together, even online!
If you have been in a position to keep your membership with us, we can't thank you enough and all live streaming classes are included. Please note that class revenue from this platform is to support the studio and staff so that we all have a place to practice on the other side. Feel free to share this with your friends and family far and wide so we can spread the power of yoga.
From every note you’ve sent, to every message on Social Media, and even each review of the virtual classes you have taken, know that YOU have made a difference in how our small business has not only weathered this storm but how we will continue to be able to serve a community we love with all our hearts.
